More Exciting Professions and Activities at the City for Cool Kids
Petaling Jaya, 24 August 2015 – KidZania Kuala Lumpur, the award-winning themed learning centre, announced Brother International Malaysia, F&N Beverages Marketing, Telekom Malaysia Berhad and Leebook Reader Sdn Bhd as partners for its unique city role-play education model, today.
The newest addition to KidZania Kuala Lumpur’s partnership circle, Brother International Malaysia will introduce the ‘Brother Sewing and Embroidery Centre’ to KidZania Kuala Lumpur’s mini cityscape. Combining modern technology with traditional craft, the globally-recognized Brother sewing product line will give children the opportunity to train as a Junior Seamster or Seamstress, enabling children to easily translate their creative vision in sewing and embroidery.
Meanwhile, F&N Beverages Marketing, Telekom Malaysia Berhad and Leebook Reader, also announced the extension of their tenure with the themed educational centre; allowing children to enjoy the roles and activities provided at the F&N Climbing Building, TM Telecommunication Centre and Leebook’s Young Scientist Magazine at Urbano House.
“We are very proud to not only welcome a new partner but also to maintain three longstanding partners in our KidZania family. We firmly believe that this collaboration will further enhance the educational experience in KidZania Kuala Lumpur,” said Susanah Abdul Rani, Governor of KidZania Kuala Lumpur.
All four partners were presented with ‘keys’ to the city of KidZania Kuala Lumpur, to symbolize the trust and appreciation of their industry contribution to the themed learning centre.
Susanah adds, “Real world brands are a key component in bringing authenticity and realism to the KidZania experience and so we are very appreciative of the partners who continue to support and lend their industry teachings to our unique facility.”
KidZania Kuala Lumpur goes beyond traditional teaching mediums to continuously look at opportunities to expose kids to new experiences and endless occupational possibilities and is an officially endorsed co-curricular partner to the Malaysian Ministry of Education. As of now, KidZania Kuala Lumpur offers over 100 profession related role-playing activities spread across 60 various city establishments.
In pursuit of excellence, KidZania Kuala Lumpur was also recently awarded the silver winner under the Best Employee Engagement Strategy category at the Asia Pacific Loyalty & Engagement Awards 2015 held at Singapore.
