KidZania Camp

  • This is a 2 day + 1 night programme organised by us, Rakan Riang Sdn Bhd (the authorised licensor of KZKL) on the 7th and 8th December 2017 (“Programme”), whereby your children will spend the first day learning the theories of camping management, orienteering, cooking, and fire management in KZKL, and followed by second day in Forest Research Institute Malaysia, Kepong (“FRIM”) for the children to practice what they have learned.
  • This Programme is opened for participation by children aged 7 to 15 years old.
  • The objectives of this Programme are:
    • Camping management
    • Canopy and petzl night walk/ hiking
    • Motivation talk about expedition mountaineering, trekking
    • Compass learning/ orienteering
    • Cooking/ fire management
    • Rope management
  • The package price is RM299.00 per child. Package is inclusive of:
    • Accommodation
    • Return transportation to FRIM
    • Meals
    • Certificate
    • Free souvenir

Relevant Information

To help make the Programme a safe and enjoyable experience for your child, we have put together this information to help you prepare for the Programme. This information shall be read together with the applicable terms and conditions in the registration form.

  1. Qualification to participate
    Please contact us to discuss your child’s requirements and suitability of the Programme, prior to submitting the registration form.
  2. Health and safety
    1. Your child’s safety is our top priority. Activities are conducted in a fun and safe environment and are supervised by qualified and experienced instructors.
    2. We may change the activities of the Programme on the day itself without any prior notice.
    3. If your child has a pre-existing condition, allergy, special dietary needs, is on prescription medicine or has any specific needs, please provide full details on the registration form.
    4. You as the parent/legal guardian will be required to sign authorisation form for this Programme.
  3. Bed wetting
    If your child is prone to bed wetting, please disclose in the registration form and advise our staff in advance so our staff can deal with the situation in a discreet and caring manner. If required, please provide a waterproof mattress protector.
  4.  Accommodation
    Your child will stay in comfortable tents in KZKL with boys and girls accommodated separately. There will be both male and female staff in attendance during the Programme.
  5. Meals
    1. Our catering team prepares nutritious and delicious meals so your child will never go hungry during the Programme.
    2. If your child has any special dietary requirements or food allergies, it is crucial that these are disclosed in the registration form. All food served during this Programme is Halal.
  6. Behaviour
    1. So that the Programme is a fun and safe experience for everybody, we have rules in place for your child to follow. These will be explained to your child during the briefing session at KZKL.
    2. If your child misbehaves or any other issue arises, we will discuss the issue with your child and if the issue continues, we will contact you. We have zero tolerance stance on bullying.
  7. Outdoor Safety
    Every effort is made to ensure your child’s safety and comfort during the Programme. We promote wearing caps and sunscreen and we will try to minimise sun exposure during the hottest part of the day. Covered shoes must be worn when participating in all outdoor activities.
  8. Money and Valuables

    1. Your child shall be responsible for the loss or damage to his/her personal property, including money or other valuable items.
    2. Mobile phones and valuable items need to be surrendered to our staff during the Programme. All mobile phones will be kept in Ziplock bags labelled with the participant’s name.
  9. Accidents or emergencies
    1. Our staff hold senior first aid accreditations and can administer first aid, if required. If your child requires emergency medical assistance, they will be taken to the nearest medical centre or hospital and we will notify you
    2. In case of emergencies, you can contact our programme team leader, Wan Zarulniezam Shah at 014-267 4667 OR Nasyrah at 019-291 7579.
  10. What to pack
    1. Your child should wear sport shoes, a long-sleeved t-shirt and long trousers during outdoor activity. You should pack:

      • Personal toiletries
      • 1 to 2 change of extra clothes (no singlets, sleeveless or midriff tops)
      • Suitable sleeping attire
      • Slippers (for taking showers)
      • Socks and underwear
      • Sunscreen
      • Cap
      • Headlamp with batteries
      • Towel
      • Backpack
      • Handkerchief or tissues
      • Plastic bags for dirty or wet clothes
      • Sanitary pads (if needed)
    2. You can also pack the following (optional):
      • Sunglasses
      • Sleeping bag
    3. The backpack should be labelled with your child’s name and phone number.
  11. What not to bring
    • Aerosol cans (i.e. spray-on deodorant or insect repellent)
    • Lollies or chewing gum
    • Jewellery
    • Anything valuable
  12. Prohibited
    Drugs, cigarettes and alcohol are not allowed at the Programme and any person found using or in possession of these items may be removed from the Programme. Those found in possession of illegal drugs will be reported to the police immediately.
  13. Staying in touch during the Programme
    1. While at the Programme, you can send your child a message by sending a text message to the programme supervisor Wan Zarulniezam Shah at 014-267 4667 OR Nasyrah at 019-291 7579 for any emergencies.
    2. Alternatively, you can send message to your child via his/ her own mobile, which will be given to them to check messages at designated times 2 to 3 times a day to minimise disruptions to the Programme.
